- Smashed cooked rice 1/4 cup
- Sugar 1/4 cup
- Turmeric pinch (you can use any food color)
- Water 1/4 cup
- Ghee 1 tsp
- Dry nuts
- In a pan, add water, sugar and turmeric and let it boil for a while.
- Add, smashed rice into a sugar water. Allow to cook for 5 mins / let the rice absorb the sugar water.
- Add Ghee and fried dry nuts into a Kesari rice.
- Switch off the stove.
