Instant and quick Rice Kesari



  • Smashed cooked rice 1/4 cup
  • Sugar 1/4 cup
  • Turmeric pinch (you can use any food color) 
  • Water 1/4 cup
  • Ghee 1 tsp
  • Dry nuts




  • In a pan, add water, sugar and turmeric and let it boil for a while.
  • Add, smashed rice into a sugar water. Allow to cook for 5 mins / let the rice absorb the sugar water.
  • Add Ghee and fried dry nuts into a Kesari rice.
  • Switch off the stove.
