Instant Chole Rice



  • Cooked rice 1 cup
  • Cooked Chole 1/2 cup
  • Chopped Cabbage 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1 small
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/4 tsp
  • Sambar powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chili Powder 1/4 tsp (Optional)
  • Turmeric powder  1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil / butter 3 tsp



  • In a wide pan, after heating up the oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder and chopped onions and fry it 1 min.


  • Add chopped cabbage  and fry it until  gets brown color, it may take around 5 mins.


  • Add cooked chole and all spices along with the salt.


  • Add cooked rice into it and mix it well and cook it for 5 mins.
  • Switch off the stove.


  • Enjoy with plain Yogurt,
