Bottle gourd and Methi leaves Curry/ Aanapakaya and Menthi leaves Curry

Ingredients:

  • Methi leaves 1 cup
  • Bottle gourd medium size 1
  • Onion medium size 1
  • Tadka:
    • Oil 3 tbsp
    • Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
    • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
    • Curry leaves few
  • Turmeric
  • Salt

Process:

  • Soak the methi leaves in  salt water for 10 mins.
  • Then, keep in colander basket.

  • Chop the washed methi leaves and onion.

  • Add chili power and turmeric ..

  • Add chopped methi leaves

  • Cook for 5 mins.. (keep the lid on)

  • In mean while, cut the bottle gourd..

  • Add, bottle gourd cubes into it..

  • Keep the lid on and let it cook on medium flame until, bottle gourd gets soft. ( it may take around 15 mins).

  • Keep stir it in between..
